The first season of the website sitcom The Sims 3 Hunger Games premiered on KPopp's channel on June 19, 2013, and concluded on July 23, 2013. It consisted of 9 episodes, most running approximately 20 minutes in length. The Sims 3 Hunger Games is based on the novel The Hunger Games, the first entry in The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. 

The story takes place in a fictional world, primarily upon a town called Moonlight Falls. The brave and courageous household of eight is drawn into schemes against life threatening challenges when they were all reaped for a violent and gruesome event otherwise known as The Hunger Games.

Filming[]

The primary location was the Hunger Games Arena in Moonlight Falls. The location consisted of four buildings overall, with the building on the center, otherwise known as the Main House, and the building on the far left, otherwise known as the Reward House, are where most of the scenes are filmed.

  • Drowning
    • Drowning is a death challenge that was introduced on the second episode of the first season of The Sims 3 Hunger Games and is considered to be one of the classic death challenges. This death challenge revolves around the remaining cast members to be trapped floating inside of the barricaded swimming pool for a duration of time until one of the cast members meets their demise. In the first season of The Sims 3 Hunger Games, the cast members that were eliminated by this challenge were Justin BieberButtpluKatniss EverdeenRonald WeasleyKelly KPopp and Amanda Bynes.
    • In the fifth episode of the first season of The Sims 3 Hunger GamesHugh G. Rection received a punishment, in which he was trapped floating inside of the barricaded swimming pool for approximately six hours in the video game. However, Rection did not manage to survive the punishment and met his demise.
  • Mechanical Bull Riding
